I gave up coffee too in favour of green tea - but it's an interesting one, because there's also loads of evidence that it actually prolongs life and is good for the heart and the brain - just not too much of it. In the end I don't drink it because the hormone blockers give me horrible anxiety and coffee makes it unbearable. Green tea has less caffeine. I do miss it though.
On the rebounder - I dance essentially, don't do anything sophisticated except jump up and down, wave my arms around, do some side to side to twist the spine. I have a playlist of tracks that make me feel happy so I sing along too. No idea what my neighbours think. From what I've read it's the simple act of bouncing up and down that stimulates the lymphatic system to work, nothing fancy is needed. If I'm feeling extra I might go around in circles 😂 That being said there are tons of things you can do on it if you google it, I just don't have the energy. Oh, and I do a lot of it with my eyes closed to dial my balance back in. After all the chemo I've done I've lost my centre a bit, so I find if I close my eyes it help to improve my balance.
Fabulous to listen to. You are doing an amazing job of carving your own path. Thankyou !
I gave up alcohol, perfume, most sugar, even coffee when I was diagnosed. Went back to basics. Interesting to hear you’ve been on a similar path.
What exercises do you do on the rebounder ? I am keen to get one - great idea. Onward and upwards Jane ❤️💪
Thank You 🙏
