There were several people who wondered whether I regret the chemo I did. This short video is your answer to that one.
The one thing I didn’t say in the video is this: I have a strong sense that this is my path, by which I mean, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, and I’ve done exactly what I was meant to do. I had to do ALL THE THINGS, go round the houses and down every rabbit hole, in order to land right here.
I had to experience all the fear, the misery of chemo, and the skirmish with death, in order to fully comprehend the miracle of life, to learn to love myself wholeheartedly, and to take back my life force, my power, from fear.
Furthermore, it’s BECAUSE I’ve done everything, and been to hell and back, that I’m so at peace with the choice I’m now making. I’ve left no stone unturned, and I will never be able to say “well, what if I’d tried X, Y, or Z?”. I’ve tried it all.
So no regrets, just peace.
